Our People

We are Qualified Professionals

There is nothing like having peace of mind when you or a loved one requires special care. The staff at Community Personal Care consists of  trained and licensed professionals who live in the communities they serve.  Our professionals offer a unique level of comfort to the families in Hampton Roads in need of home care. Let CPC show you how we can help.

Many companies that provide private duty  home care services conduct minimum standards of screening and selection:

  • Employment Verification
  • Reference Checks
  • Criminal Background Checks
  • Certificate and License Verification

CPC Private Duty goes a step further and raises the bar on these standards with its Caregiver Quality Assurance Program (CQA). CQA takes a closer look at the personality and behaviors of the prospective applicant by utilizing the most advanced screening tool available today in pre-employment assessment of caregivers. With the Caregiver Pre-employment Assessment, we can identify individuals with the potential to put your family at risk. The tool examines attitudes, behaviors and personality to screen applicants before an incident can occur. In addition, we administer pre-employment drug testing.

We know comfort and peace of mind is important to you and we want you to know that it’s important to us too. That is why we will only introduce an aide to you who has successfully passed our screening process and possesses the necessary experience to fulfill your individual needs. In addition, you have the opportunity to interview any of the aides we recommend and accept the one with which you feel totally comfortable.

We are here to support and help you maintain your independence, not change your lifestyle. Therefore it is our job to adjust to your schedule and develop a Plan of Care that is right for you so that you remain comfortable in your own home.
