Community Personal Care, Inc. is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and is an accredited home care agency, accommodating most home care needs. Our Personal Care Aides, Private Duty Aides, Companions and Registered Nurses are experienced professionals who are compassionate, reliable and highly attentive to the health, safety and rights of the patients in their care, their family and caregivers. Each Aide is extensively screened, trained and matched to ensure that the personal and medical needs of our patients are met. We are committed to helping our clients regain and maintain independence at home.
We are proud to be one of the few personal care agencies to achieve full accreditation by the Joint Commission (http://www.jointcommission.org/), the nation’s highest accreditation for healthcare institutions. Our History
Community Personal Care, Inc. (CPC) was established in 1998 by its President, W. Wayne Perry, Jr. After spending 20 years in the health care industry, Mr. Perry created an organization that is passionate and committed to improving the quality of home care for the elderly and disabled in Hampton Roads. Today, CPC is one of the largest personal care agencies in the region. Headquartered in Norfolk, with satellite offices in Portsmouth and Suffolk, CPC service areas include Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk and Virginia Beach.
Since our inception, we have become an integral part of our community’s health care network, serving as a resource center for home care related issues. Our patients turn to us for information and assistance regarding health care issues, referrals and community based resources. They trust us to help them navigate a health care system that can be daunting and overwhelming even for the most sophisticated individual.
